Parking Decals

CMA has received  OUR new parking decals for all residents.  The Board and CMA is working on the best way to start distribution of them.  CMA will be sending further information about how you will apply for and receive your new parking decal(s) and visitor hang tags.

Failure to abide by any rules and regulations set forth in the Declaration of Condominium of McGill Place or the Rules and Regulations adopted by the Board of Directors of McGill Place will result in a fine for each occurrence and for each additional continuing occurrence, as determined by the Board of Directors. Parking Rules

  • GENERAL
  1. A Unit may have a maximum of two registered vehicles permits and two visitor hang tags.
  2. Parking shall only be permitted within the areas designated for parking on the Common Elements. 
  3. Parking decals are not permitted to be transferred to another vehicle or reproduced in any form. 
  4. Noncompliance fine: $50.00 per day. 
  • VISITORS:
  1. Will be required to have a hang tag on their rearview mirror and instructed to park in the designated guest spaces. Noncompliance fine: $20.00 per day.
  2. Visitor vehicle registration is limited to a total of fourteen (14) days (i.e., overnight) per month. 
  3. Only two (2) guest vehicles per unit may be parked inside the gated property at any time. 
  4. Residents having a reasonable need for additional visitor parking days must contact the Board to obtain additional days or a “Special Permit.” For example, a rental car would fall under a special permit.
  5. Due to limited guest parking, any residents holding an organized function must be made to the board in writing, with a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the date requested to secure a “Special Permit” which must be displayed on the dashboard. 
  • SITUATIONS WHERE PARKING OR DRIVING VEHICLES IS NOT PERMITTED AND TOWING IS ENFORCED:

    No notice shall be required for the following parking violations and the vehicle may be towed or booted immediately with a minimum towing expense of $175.00 to the owner or user. ( See #5 TOWING)

  1. In a parking space which has been assigned as exclusively serving another Unit. 
  2. In a fire lane. 
  3. Blocking access to an Owner’s Unit. 
  4. Obstructing the flow of traffic. 
  5. Any grassy area. 
  6. Anyplace creating a hazardous condition. 
  7. Parking impeding access to the dumpster: Except short stops to empty trash, parking is not permitted in areas that require access to the recycle bin and trash pick-up area. Fine $ 20.00 per day.
  8. No expired tags: All vehicles must be licensed (valid tags) for street worthiness. 
    1. As a standard operating procedure vehicles with expired tags may be violated and a sticker placed on the windshield for 2 working days before being towed, but not required.
    2. Exceptions will be any made for construction or maintenance vehicles as authorized by the Board of Directors or the property management company.  
    3.  All operators of any vehicles must be duly licensed. 
  9. No unsightly Vehicles: No vehicles may be parked or placed upon the property in a condition that may cause the property to look unsightly or cause an unsightly residue or damage from leakage.
  10. No disabled vehicles: (even if displaying registration decal or visitor registration) Disabled vehicles are prohibited from being parked in the Condominium. For purposes hereof, a vehicle shall be considered “disabled” if it does NOT have a current license tag or is obviously inoperable.  
  11.  No Storing of Vehicles: 
    1. All vehicles parked on the property must be in running order and not in a condition that may be deemed as being stored (i.e., flat tires, missing wheels, broken windows, etc.)
    2. A vehicle shall be considered “stored” if it remains in the Condominium for fourteen (14) consecutive days or longer without a registration or Special Permit. (Towed at owner expense) 
    3. Fine is $25.00 per day or (Towed at owner expense) 
  • OTHER CONDITIONS FOR PARKING SPACES 
  1. No materials, goods or equipment may be placed in any parking space. Only motorized scooters and passenger vehicles may be parked. The storage of bicycles and other equipment is strictly prohibited. Fine ($25.00 per day)      
  2. No Repairs: No repairs or similar activity to boats, trailers, or vehicles of any nature shall be permitted to be performed on the Common Elements, except in the event of an emergency   
  3. No campers, mobile homes, motor homes, boats, house trailers, boat trailers, trucks larger than one half (1/2) ton, commercial vehicles (except for delivery and pick up) or trailers of any other description shall be parked or stored on the property. Other vehicles may be regulated by the rules and regulations. 
  • TOWING
  1. If a vehicle is towed in accordance with this section, neither the Association nor any director, Officer or agent of the Association shall be liable to any person for any claim of damage as a result of the towing activity.
  2. Illegal parking of any vehicle on any portion of the Condominium will be in violation of 330 McGill Condominium Association Inc. published Declaration, rules and/or regulations. 
  3. The Board or agent of the Association may have the vehicle towed in accordance at the users or owners’ expense without further notice.
  4. Neither the Association nor any director, Officer or agent of the Association shall be liable to any person for any claim of damage as a result of the towing activity. 
  5. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the Board may elect to impose fines or use other available sanctions, rather than exercise its authority to tow from being parked on the Condominium.
